Google’s New Technique for Doc and Sheet Editing on Google Drive App
Google is updating its primary Google Drive app to remove the ability to edit documents and spreadsheets within the app itself. This fact has come to us through a new report on the latest app reworking process of Google. This news makes it clear that Google is always ready with new thoughts to manage its apps and tools in more user-friendly manner.
Now, the user can edit his docs and sheets directly on the Google Drive. But with this new technique, instead of letting the user do all the editing of the files, the app will encourage him to install the stand alone Docs or Sheets apps on your computer in order to do the editing. Once the installation is done, the editing of the files from his Drive will be a quite similar procedure as before. The only difference is the Drive will pull up his Docs or Sheets for him as an alternative of making the editing via Drive.
Google Docs Data Sheet :
According to this new idea, the “Docs” section is meant for document editing, on the other hand, the “Sheets” is basically for editing the spreadsheets. Apart from these two sections, Google Drive will have the allegedly upcoming Slides app, which is specially designed for presentations and Drawings.
With the help of Google’s New Technique for Doc and Sheet editing, when the users will save a new document the Google Drive either from Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word on a MacBook Pro, that document will directly show up in the Google Drive App, and the user can open and view the document as well. However, the users cannot find the document in either Google Sheets or Google Drive, unlike the common Word and Excel documents that were previously stored in their Google Drive before these new separate Apps as well as the Google Drive update. Moreover, the new Google Drive app will come with a password locking feature in order to provide the users more secure file storing as well as document sharing facility.
